Port Chester Beautification Commission Announces Winners of First Annual Landscaping Contest
The Port Chester Beautification Commission congratulates 11 Lafayette Drive as the first place winner.
Port Chester, NY August 17, 2010" The Port Chester Beautification Commission announced this week the winners of the first annual Village Landscaping Contest. The Contest was created to increase pride in the Village of Port Chester. Each winner will receive a gift certificate from one of our Village restaurants and supporters of the contest. Tarry Lodge, Il Sogno, or P&D Pizza.
1st Place Winner is 11 Lafayette Drive
2nd Place Winner is 45 Browndale Avenue
3rd Place Winner is 305 Glen Avenue
The contest was judged on the following four criteria:
Curb appeal. Trees & Lawn, Plantings and Environmental Friendliness
Winners will be presented the awards at an upcoming Board of Trustees meeting.
